Senior Vice President of People & Culture

In her role, Ms. Jones is responsible for the strategic direction, management and oversight of the people and culture elements of the LVCVA including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Culture, Compensation, Diversity & Inclusion, Performance Management, and Labor Relations.

Prior to joining the LVCVA, Ms. Jones was the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Clark County School District where she oversaw talent acquisition, compensation, employee and management relations, performance management and diversity and inclusion efforts. Prior to that, she held various roles in the hospitality and gaming industry progressing in both operations and human resources functions at Marriott International and MGM Resorts International.

Ms. Jones brings an extensive Human Resources and Operations background to the LVCVA where her focus and contributions were on meeting or exceeding organizational goals and objectives by building a culture of service, performance, and accountability through the effective management of people.

Originally from Toronto, Ontario in Canada, Ms. Jones holds a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Ryerson Polytechnic University and a Masters of Tourism Administration from George Washington University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family.

The LVCVA is charged with marketing Southern Nevada as a tourism and convention destination worldwide and with operating the 4.6 million-square-foot Las Vegas Convention Center. With 150,000 hotel rooms and 14 million square feet of meeting and exhibit space in Las Vegas alone, the LVCVA's mission centers on attracting leisure and business visitors to the area. The LVCVA also owns the Las Vegas Convention Center Loop, an underground tunnel designed by The Boring Company and the Las Vegas Monorail, an elevated 3.9-mile system with seven stops throughout the resort corridor.
