Molly CastanoMolly Castano is vice president of public relations and communications for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the destination marketing organization for Las Vegas and Southern Nevada that also owns and operates the Las Vegas Convention Center, one of the largest convention centers in the United States.

Ms. Castano’s responsibilities include overseeing international and brand public relations, corporate communications, public affairs, community relations and oversees the public relations efforts of the LVCVA’s agency of record, R&R Partners.

Ms. Castano joined the LVCVA in 2015 as a public affairs communications manager before moving into an international public relations manager role, and in 2021 was promoted to director of international and brand public relations. Prior to joining the LVCVA, Ms. Castano served as a publicist for Cirque du Soleil and an account supervisor for Langdon Flynn Communications in Las Vegas.

Ms. Castano moved to Las Vegas from Northern Nevada in 1998 and holds a degree in journalism and media studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. 

The LVCVA is charged with marketing Southern Nevada as a tourism and convention destination worldwide and with operating the 4.6 million-square-foot Las Vegas Convention Center. With nearly 155,000 hotel rooms and more than 15 million square feet of meeting and exhibit space in Las Vegas alone, the LVCVA’s mission centers on attracting leisure and business visitors to the area. The LVCVA also owns the Las Vegas Convention Center Loop, an underground tunnel designed by The Boring Company and the Las Vegas Monorail, an elevated 3.9-mile system with seven stops throughout the resort corridor.
