Celebrating Frontline Hospitality Workers in Las Vegas.
Hospitality Heroes celebrates the accomplishments of an elite group of frontline hospitality workers in Las Vegas while showcasing the positive impact of the tourism industry.
Tourism is Southern Nevada’s top economic driver, representing nearly 30 percent of overall employment in the state. Hospitality workers ensure Las Vegas remains the world’s number one tourist destination.
Two Hospitality Heroes are selected each quarter by an independent committee made up of faculty and staff at UNLV’s William F. Harrah School of Hospitality. Winners are publicly recognized during the LVCVA’s public Board of Directors meetings. They receive an award and a two-night stay at a Las Vegas resort of their choice.
Nominees must be with their current employer for a minimum of one year, work in Southern Nevada, and be in good standing with no pending disciplinary actions.
