Jim McIntosh

Jim McIntosh is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the destination marketing organization for Las Vegas and Southern Nevada that also owns and operates the Las Vegas Convention Center, one of the largest convention centers in the United States. As CFO, Jim leads the organization’s finance and information technology functions.

Jim brings more than 25 years of local government leadership and accounting expertise to his role at the LVCVA. He most recently served in the dual role of assistant city manager and chief financial officer for the City of Henderson where he oversaw Henderson’s $800 million citywide budget, including finance, purchasing, business operations, risk management and public safety.

Prior to joining the City of Henderson in 2016, Jim held roles including CFO and deputy CFO for the Clark County School District (CCSD), where he was responsible for the district’s $4.6 billion financial operation.

Jim is a board member of the Nevada Department of Taxation’s Committee on Local Government Finance and the Nevada Commission on School Funding. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
