Public Affairs Department
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s Public Affairs Department develops strategies and implements multi-faceted programs that generate awareness and publicity for the destination of Las Vegas and the Las Vegas brand. The department is responsible for public relations, government affairs, the Las Vegas News Bureau, community outreach, and the Board of Directors Office. The department also works on business relations and advocacy. The team manages the branding and messaging to consumer and trade media around the world, key stakeholders, elected officials and residents of Southern Nevada.

In its public relations role, the Public Affairs team is the liaison with all domestic and international news media, including consumer, travel trade and meetings trade reporters writing or developing stories about Las Vegas.

International Public Relations

The international PR team oversees 18 international offices representing more than 75 countries throughout the world. International media may contact individuals below for consumer or business inquiries, or click here to contact the following representative in-country.

Las Vegas News Bureau

The News Bureau captures photos and video of special events, entertainment, attractions, resorts and hotels in Las Vegas, and imagery of the Southern Nevada destinations of Laughlin, Mesquite and Boulder City. Our Las Vegas archive spans 65 years and is available to news media for editorial use. The News Bureau produces photo exhibitions on display locally in public buildings.

The News Bureau shoots and distributes photos and b-roll of Las Vegas events, and maintains an archive of historical images for editorial use. Click here to request photos or video.

The News Bureau also produces “Las Vegas 360° – Travel & Tourism,” which airs on local city and county public access channels. With new editions debuting four times a year, the half-hour television program educates residents about the benefits of the tourism industry on the Southern Nevada community.
