Fireworks & Champagne Glasses Will Be in the Air at America's Party

LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas is once again the place to be and be seen to ring in the New Year.
Nightclubs, casinos, and our top-rated restaurants are geared up and ready to treat visitors to the most mystifying and electrifying New Year's celebration on the planet.

Appropriately dubbed, America's Party: Las Vegas New Year 2012, the destination will be hosting fabulous events, parties, and happy happenings, which will grandly usher in the New Year for all types of holiday revelers.

Headline Concerts

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will ring in the New Year with the legendary Stevie Wonder.
The acclaimed artist, songwriter, musician and producer will headline an explosive celebration that kicks off at 9:30 p.m. at The Chelsea, The Cosmopolitan's intimate concert venue. General admission ticket pricing begins at $250 and includes an open bar throughout the show. Vanessa Williams will grace the stage inside the Royale Pavilion at Riviera Hotel & Casino this New Year's Eve. The show begins at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are available at www.RivieraHotel.com and are priced at $95. VIP tickets, priced at $150, include unlimited drinks are also available.

Celebrating the end of their first U.S. tour in five years, legendary rockers Guns N' Roses are performing a two and a half hour show inside The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino this New Year's Eve. TributePalooza 4 is a celebration of tribute bands featuring 12 separate acts at the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas. The show begins at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 and are available through Fremont Street hotels or at the gate.


Las Vegas' world-class dining scene will be bristling and hopping for New Year's Eve. Check out these special dining offers happening for the New Year's Eve weekend. Many of the best restaurants in the city will be featuring special menus and VIP dining events.

FIX Restaurant & Bar, the hot dining destination at Bellagio, will host a stylish New Year's Eve soirée. The cost is $150 per person, including tax and gratuity, for a four-course New Year's Eve Gala dinner. Reservations are offered between 5 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and unlimited glasses of champagne are available for an additional $45 per guest.

Serendipity 3 at Caesars Palace will host its third annual New Year's Eve bash. The Strip-side hot spot invites guests to indulge in unrivaled Strip views while noshing on an over-the-top buffet prepared by chef Michael Wolf. The buffet will be complemented by a cash bar and live entertainment from DJ Adventure. Guests will celebrate 2012 with a complimentary champagne toast and cake as fireworks dazzle overhead at midnight. The New Year's Eve party lasts from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The Fountains of Bellagio, Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant will treat partygoers to an exclusive New Year's Eve dining experience featuring a special seven-course Omakase menu prepared by world-renowned chef Akira Back. The cost is $350 per person, including tax and gratuity, for the seven-course New Year's Eve Omakase menu.

Spend New Year's Eve situated high above the Las Vegas skyline on the 50th floor of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Voodoo Steak will offer a New Year's Eve menu created by Chef Mecinas complemented by celebratory libations. BRAND Steakhouse and Lounge at Monte Carlo will shine this new year with a spectacular four-course New Year's Eve Gala dinner. The cost is $125 per person, including tax and gratuity; unlimited glasses of champagne are available for an additional $45 per guest. Reservations are offered between 5 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Access to Brand Lounge is $75 per guest, permitting VIP access throughout the evening and a hosted bar from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Vegas' newest hidden gem, The Barrymore, will offer an exceptional New Year's Eve experience of food, wine and atmosphere. The prix fixe menu, which will include veal sweet breads, white truffle gnocchi, petite Buffalo filet mignon and roasted Maine lobster and finish with a white chocolate dome for dessert, will be offered for $59 per person. The gorgeous Las Vegas sky will be lit up with a dazzling fireworks show at midnight. The Strip will be closed to vehicle traffic and will be the perfect spot to watch the one-of-a-kind midnight pyrotechnic show. The dazzling display will be fired from eight rooftops along the iconic Strip and is being produced by the world-renown Fireworks by Gucci of New York.
