Caesars Palace Opens Octavius Tower
The hotel's sixth tower marks completion of $860 million expansion of Caesars Palace. The Octavius Tower is a 668-room hotel tower and includes 60 suites and six luxury villas. The tower will offer a unique luxurious resort experience with a private entrance, separate hotel lobby and direct access to the Garden of the Gods pool oasis and gardens. ABSINTHE Will Make a Triumphant Return to Caesars Palace
Due to popular demand, Caesars Palace has announced that Las Vegas' "Best New Show" will return to the Roman Plaza. Performances will resume on October 21 and guests will find a new ABSINTHE venue suitable for all seasons which will integrate the old-world charm, theater-in-the-round presentation and intimate nature that audiences have embraced. ABSINTHE will perform Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m., with no show on Monday. Central Michel Richard is now open at Caesars Palace. This marks the first time a James Beard award-winning chef is helming a 24-hour dining experience. Captivating Colors of Autumn Abound at Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
Attracting more than 22,000 visitors daily, Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens unveils an impressive autumn display featuring a picturesque harvest tableau to celebrate the sights and colors of the crisp season. A 20-foot-tall cornucopia constructed of tightly woven willow branches, lies in the north garden and overflows with pumpkins, gourds and exotic fruit. A 15-foot-tall scarecrow stands guard over an enormous flowering pumpkin, made from 2,000 orange carnations and seven large half-shucked corn shapes, each made of 60 pieces of native Indian corn. Rounding out this seasonal transformation is a towering 35-foot-tall cider mill powered by a gentle stream and surrounded by a bed of massive pumpkins, ranging in size from 300 to 1,000 pounds. Guests strolling through the Conservatory are invited to visit with Bellagio horticulturists designated as "Mr. and Mrs. Green Thumb" from 10:30 a.m. to noon daily to receive fall gardening tips along with additional information about the exhibit. Fright Dome at Circus Circus Creates Ultimate Haunted Attraction
Beginning Saturday, Oct. 1 Fright Dome takes over The Adventuredome at Circus Circus and will partner with Compass Films International to theme two of its five haunted houses after the legendary horror film HALLOWEEN. Fright Dome's HALLOWEEN themed houses will bring together popular scenes from the iconic horror movie.
