In Las Vegas, Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing
Las Vegas Adds Ambiance and Adventure to the Perfect Valentine's Getaway

February 10, 2012

All you need is love ... and a trip to the spa! At Spa & Salon Vdara couples will be treated to a wild black cherry enzyme peel with cocoa powder chocolate mask blends for a sensual and seductive cherries & chocolate facial. The Venetian is offering couples Rasul ceremonies. Based on an ancient Oriental pre-wedding night cleansing/purification ceremony, the Valentine Rasul includes a private massage therapist in your room. Qua Baths and Spa at Caesars is offering a "Twin Souls" treatment for couples that include a private suite with the couple's selection of scented oils, followed by a scalp massage, body scrub and a therapeutic massage. At Planet Hollywood Spa by Mandara, couples will celebrate their love in this 120-minute treatment that includes a lavish whirlpool bathing experience. Forget Paris? No way. A "Paris for Lovers" treatment at the Paris Spa by Mandara offers couples an indulgent full body massage for two while lying side-by-side.

They say the way to the heart is through the stomach. If so, Vegas has you covered. At Rice & Company, a Naughty and Spice roll has been added to the menu. Those looking for a more rocking Valentine's Day will enjoy live entertainment from dueling pianos, as well as barbecue and beer specials on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ and Beer inside Excalibur. Along the Strip, restaurants are setting the stage for a deliciously romantic night out. Prime Steakhouse, Olives and Le Cirque are rolling out special prix fixe menus. So is Fleur at Mandalay Bay, Sage and JG at Aria, and Diego at MGM Grand. At Wynn, The Country Club is offering an "Aphrodisiac" menu. Botero, La Cave, also at Wynn and Society Café at Encore have romantic tasting dinners for two.

Looking for a groovy kind of love? If so, check out the nightlife venues. Hyde, the new venue inside Bellagio, will have DJ 88 and DJ Savi setting the mood Valentine's night. Ice-T and Coco will be welcoming all lovers to PURE in Caesars Palace on Feb. 11. Also on the 11th, Surrender inside Encore will have Dada Life in the house and on Feb. 13, XS nightclub at Wynn will feature the artist Diplo.
