Golden Gate Hotel & Casino Undergoes Dramatic Expansion

Founded in 1906, the Golden Gate - Las Vegas' original casino - is undergoing its first major expansion in 50 years. The landmark property in downtown Las Vegas will add a 35,000-square-foot, five-story luxury tower with 16 hotel suites, including two penthouses, an extended casino floor, a high-limit gaming pit and a new lobby where artifacts from the hotel's notable past will be displayed. The new tower will also feature a porte-cochere designed to provide convenient valet parking. Renovations are scheduled for completion by July 2012. U.S. Travel Association to Launch "Vote Travel" Bus Tour in Las Vegas
The U.S. Travel association, in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce will launch the 20,000-mile nationwide bus tour in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 12 at 8:00 a.m. The goal of this tour is to engage and inform elected officials across the country about the economic power of

15th Annual Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender Returns to Las Vegas
The biggest Rockabilly party in the world, 20,000 expected attendees, returns to Las Vegas for the 15th annual celebration April 5-8, 2012 at The Orleans Hotel & Casino. Laugh Factory Inks Deal at New Tropicana Las Vegas
The Laugh Factory and the New Tropicana Las Vegas are launching a multi-venue comedy experience at the Strip property. Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens Debuts Spring Exhibition
Spring has sprung at Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, now open to the public through May 13. Red Rock Resort Announces Summer Concerts
The Red Rock Casino Amphitheatre at Red Rock Resort is a popular venue for summer concerts and has just announced the beginning of the seasonal shows. Flamingo Las Vegas announced its newest restaurant, Center Cut Steakhouse, set to debut this April. The steakhouse will offer guests a posh eatery with favorites such as the 20-ounce rib-eye and the 24-ounce porterhouse, made with all natural premium beef.
